Working with a Top 5 Building Client

A client for over a decade

We're working with one of the top five house builders in the UK on a new SAP project in the West Midlands. We've have a long term business relationship with the client which spans over the last decade. The client builds thousands of homes across the UK every year and needs a flexible specification that adopts seamlessly across differing requirements.

We've produced a specification that meets the client's energy related needs across the board. A cost effective baseline of insulation and services, supplemented with additions to the heating system and insulation provides flexibility. This flexibility allows for regional variations in climate, additional planning conditions, changing frame and floor construction, and new regulations

A straightforward solution

The benefits of a flexible specification are especially relevant on this site. More than half of the 93 dwellings assessed achieve Building Regulations by a reasonable margin. We identified that in these plots, cost savings could be made through the removal of supplementary services and insulation. Resulting in a saving of an estimated £23,000, easily achieved through a simple, easy to follow solution.

Furthermore, we provide the client with a clear specification document which outlines the levels of insulation, construction and services, and further ensure our straightforward solution is achieved without incident. Our long term client consistently returned to us for all their projects as a result.
