Our SBEM team are currently working on a new-build non-domestic SBEM (Part L2A 2010) project for a community centre in Butts Lane, Stanford Le Hope. The community centre is a ‘shell and core’ project, where the fabric is completed but the tenant will fit services such as lighting, heating and ventilation.
The site, in Stanford Le Hope, Essex also includes 350 domestic dwellings, a mixture of apartments and houses, requiring SAPs and EPCs (Part L1A 2010) as well as planning requirements to meet Code for Sustainable Homes (CfSH) level 3 and 4 across the site. The developer, a large multi-national house-builder, ensured expert attention and continuity in achieving compliance between different regulations and planning conditions through working with Environmental Economics.
