Michail Kapetanakis joins Environmental Economics as Building Energy Consultant.

Environmental Economics welcomes Michail Kapetanakis to the Building Energy team to help deliver the growing demand for energy audits, performance certificates and savings assessments. With a background in civil and sustainability engineering, a keen interest in designing sustainable buildings and vast experience in a number of design tools, Michail is a great addition to the team.

A LEED Green Associate with an Energy Assessor credential, Michail has experience in Sustainable Design, Energy, Efficiency in buildings Sustainability, Renewable Energy, HVAC, Low Energy Design, Energy Conservation, Energy Renovation, Feasibility, District Heating, Life Cycle Assessment, Life Cycle Costing, Indoor Environment, Thermal Comfort, Surveying, Daylight Performance, Simulations and Environmental Impact Assessments. Michail is also proficient in the optimisation of building behaviours in terms of energy use, indoor environment and day light performance.

With international experience, Michail’s most recent projects include the conduction of a study for the repair and maintenance of a municipal swimming center, the creation of a land survey plan for the expansion and modernisation of sanitary landfill, conducting a study for the refurbishment of old barracks including a land survey plan for the expansion and a detailed daylight design for a new school building.
