Daylight and sunlight assessment in Ipswich

Our team have been working with a university to provide a full daylight and sunlight assessment of a new block of students housing  in Ipswich. The assessment is completed following the best practice listed by BRE's 'Site Layout Planning for Daylighting and Sunlight'  guide and accounts for the building design, window layout and materials, and other nearby buildings. The site comprises of several blocks of multi-storey flats by the marina.

Daylight and sunlight assessments are more than just a box-ticking exercise. They provide important information on daylight and sunlight reaching the building's spaces, which greatly effects the welfare of the occupant. Through working with us, the client have ensured their student accommodation provides it's occupants with a excellent environment to study.
