Code for Sustainable Homes Assessment

We’ve recently undertaken a Code for Sustainable Homes (CfSH) assessment for a development in Northwood, London. As the owner of the home, the client desired a well-considered sustainable design to meet CfSH credits from low carbon technology, fabric and design features.

The site, a domestic dwelling, meets CfSH (2010) level 4 requirements through utilising Photovoltaic panels, providing cycle storage, space for the Council’s recycling system, using energy efficient white goods with efficient water use, utilizing surface water run-off management, as well as accounting for planning conditions such as provisions to meet life time homes requirements.

Though contacting Environmental Economics our team worked with the client and architects to ensure environmental, lifestyle and build quality where sustained through the most appropriate measures.

You can contact us on 01582 544250 to discuss your own CfSH or sustainability projects.
