BREEAM ‘Very Good’ and SBEM in Southampton

Environmental Economics are currently working on an assessment of a local authority community centre in Southampton. The project has an ambitious building specification, working with the local authority and several of the largest house builders in the UK.

The project is expected to achieve Part L2A compliance and a BREEAM ‘Very Good’ rating. Utilising an extensive array of photovoltaics integral to the building design, the site will use electric heating, storage and carefully considered services.

To ensure the developer achieves the ambitious targets, we have been largely involved with the build from the design stage, advising on the most suitable services and fabric solutions throughout the SBEM and BREEAM assessment
